Bio:
Sam Jaspersohn fell in love with electronic music as a boy growing up in the Green Mountains of northern Vermont. Inspired at first by the music of Daft Punk, the Chemical Brothers, and Massive Attack (and later, POB, Sasha, and John Digweed), Jaspersohn began recording his own house and techno music at age fifteen, and quickly unlocked his signature gift for creating fresh sounds and beat patterns. He studied drawing and painting at Regent’s College in London, and graduated with a degree in painting and sound engineering from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. He lives in New York City, where he produces new artists and writes, records, and performs his own music.
